Hi everyone,
Just so we're all on the same page, we'd like to clarify which battery you need for your Sub.
The Sub requires 3 x AG2 batteries.
The reason we're on AG2 is that the AG1 was very small and the AG3 was very large so we settled on the middle ground in order to keep the Sub smaller than one inch in total - smaller than any other torch that exists!
We haven't included these in your package as we're not able to ship them out conventionally when batteries are included - as loose batteries change the classification to "Dangerous Goods", meaning that they then have to be specially packed by someone who is qualified to ship dangerous goods and effectively increase the amount it costs to you.
You can pick up a 10 pack of AG2 batteries from Amazon for under $2 which is much cheaper than having them shipped with the package which would increase the cost by a factor of 5 more with 3 times fewer batteries.
How to set up your Sub for maximum performance
Step 1 - Open out the Sub and ensure the LED and spring are on one side and the hoop end and silicon battery holder are on the other side.
Step 2 - Remove the silicon battery holder from the hoop end of the Sub, then remove the instructions from the battery holder.
Step 3 - Insert 3 x AG2 batteries into the battery holder as mentioned in the instructions you found on step 2. Recycle the instructions paper as you now know how to put in the batteries.
Step 4 - Insert the battery holder back into the loop end with the visible side slightly covered by the silicon (it's there to prevent short circuiting so put it in as it says to). Ensure the LED and Spring are on the other end.
Step 5 - Screw together the Sub until it is at its tightest - leaving virtually no gap - it might be a little hard to do that. (If you're unable to get the thread to align and close, remove the LED from the other side and cut off a little bit of the metal leg that sticks out and repeat this step).
Step 6 - Bask in the brightness of the Sub and then slowly unscrew the Sub until the light goes out - ensure that when you unscrew it the majority of the outer silicon ring isn't visible (as that's one of the things that keeps it in place).
Step 7 - Put it on your split ring and enjoy!
Step 8 - (optional) - leave us a comment telling us how it went.

Hey everyone,
Shipping has started! This means for the next week or two our shipping agents will be posting the Subs in staggered batches.
The reason why we don’t post them all at once is that some batches can get held up in customs for inspection so we ensure we send them piece by piece so the majority of them make it through without any hold up.
What can you expect?
Very soon everyone will be receiving a tracking number and an order ID. To help our customer service team, it's vital you follow these timeframes :
A) For all backers - Please allow up to 3-5 business days for all tracking to go ‘live’ on the carrier site as sometimes it does not show up immediately even though it is in the system.
B) For Free Shipping backers - Please allow up to 25 business days for delivery.
C) For Express Shipping backers - Please ignore the tracking email as you will receive a dedicated email with special instructions.
If any of the above do not go as planned then, by all means, please email: [email protected] quoting your order ID and tracking number.
